Scene of the Week: Five Element Ninjas – Ninjas Get Wood
If I pace myself right I could be reviewing Chang Cheh movies for the rest of my life. That man has put out the kind of content that even gives Danny Trejo a hint of jealousy. For anyone not familiar with the decades of work from Chang Cheh, I would direct you to some other list of the best films to start with in your journey. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen more than 10 or 15 of them but Five Element Ninjas is one of my favorites. It’s one of his later additions and one that you should most certainly check out. Just take a look at this glorious scene and tell me it doesn’t scream awesome!
Synopsis: When five ninjas whose fighting styles are based on natural elements unleash their fury on a rival school, a lone survivor vows deadly revenge.
Who doesn’t love going camping? Just a couple of people in the outdoors, none of that city noise or stench of pollution. Sadly, sometimes you’re forced to do battle with ninjas disguised like trees! At least that is what Five Element Ninjas taught me.
